Madea's Big Happy Family In Theaters 4/22/11! Who's Going?

I won't be seeing the flick. I was done after the last Why Did I Get Married flick where Janet got a happy ending after getting Malik Yoba bodied. However, I won't knock the man's hustle. He has an audience and he gives them what they want. He did "Daddy's Little Girls" to try and show a different side of the coin, but it didn't do as well. So he went back to what he eats off.

How many movies about family are you going to make? Thats Perry's problem. I'm not a fan of seeing grown men dress up in women's clothes.

Now im no tyler perry fan by any stretch of the imagination, but i feel he gets singled out more often than not. the criticism he gets, and deservingly so, should not end with just him. we should be calling out and criticizing hollywood in general right now. tyler perry isnt the only director in hollywood coming out with mind numbing material. u also have the likes of paul anderson, michael bay, jason friedman and aaron seltzer, rob cohen, m night shylaman, and uwe boll all equally releasing defective shit material as well. and mindless drivel gets released week after week and not only does anybody not say anything, but they end up being top box office hits. we as consumers should demand more. we should demand quality over quantity. we should demand original ideas and not pointless remake after the next. we should demand that because this is the directors job and their jobs gets paid a considerable amount of money that many of us will never see, that they will at least attempt to try to do their job.
