If lord fineness paid who had to properly use the sample why shouldn't mac miller pay fineness?

Finesse put out his music for commercial consumption, Mac Miller did not.

if you put it on youtube its out for commercial use ... someone like mac miller is registered with Harry Fox ... who tracks digital views and pays the artist for that activity ....

Props to Finesse....never heard an album from him but good for him, these hook-nosed Jew fags need to be stopped...anyone that disagrees and is a man of color need to be eaten by a pack of wild German Shepherds like in Django Unchained...coon ass niggas

SMH at eating off Finesse beat, oh really, so niggas suing niggas for using songs on mixtape beats now. SMH

Finesse just saw an opportunity to eat and gain some relevance. Hopefully this lawsuit doesn't start a slippery slope. As a producer who built his career off sampling, Finesse is a clown for this.

I dont blame Finesse. Mac Miller's people should be up on sample clearance laws anyway. Also If i'm not mistaken Finesse was or is part of the DITC Crew which means he probably did some diggin to find the sample he used. If he's not part of the crew he should have to put the work in or pay like everybody else.

The sample clearance laws only applies when you put out music for commercial consumption. How is a mixtape commercial consumption?

He sold the mixtape, people bought it, pretty simple.

So i guess all the rappers who Lil Wayne, CLipse, etc borrowed beats from should sue them for using their beats then. Jay should sue Lil Wayne for rhyming on Show me what you got and The Game should sue Clipse for rhyming Dreams.

big difference ... wayne freestyled on show me what you got ... mack made a song ... the producer of show me what you got ... just blaze ... if he wanted to he could put a cease and desist on that freestyle and have it pulled from the internet ... IF HE WANTED TO ... but also when ever wayne or mack perform thier song in these stadiums alot of them follow the same rules of radio ... roylaties have to be paid for copy-written music thats played in thier venue .....

Niggas would be on some different shit if some young nigga like Joey Bada$$ got caught up like this off a mixtape song.

Shit's lame as fuck regardless.
