I've found when listening to Lupe's music, in order to really appreciate & start to understand it on all levels, you should give it at least 3 listens, lyrics wise he can be a lot to digest in just one listen, there are so many layers to this man's music you learn something new everytime you hear it, it's quite amazing.

listening 3 times isn't enough....u have to have a the lyrics written out in front of you and you have to follow them closely or go to rapgenuis and get help on certain things

to just "listen" to the music is doing it a disservice

i thought it was solid. with lupe people are either going to like it or they are going to call it trash, seems to be no in between. its growing on me. i dont really care for the beats but he decided to do something different so nothing wrong with that.
