I just finished going back through Lupe's discography. To you all that think that Food & Liquor and The Cool is equal or better, do you really fuck with songs like Go Go Gadget Flow, Paris Tokyo, I Gotcha and Sunshine like that? I think the only song on T&Y that is light like these is Blur My Hands and even that song goes harder to me.

Yeah I love all those songs especially paris tokyo. Im a big fan of tribe called quest and that song has that vibe

Those are my 2 favorite tracks on the whole album, followed by Mural and Madonna.

I'm gonna GOAT you because some fuck nigga wacked you.

GKMC is an entertaining album but it has nothing in F&L. Day Dreaming, Kick Push, The Cool are just incredible fucking Hip Hop concepts that nothing on GKMC comes close. I can name 10 songs off of The Documentary and Doctors Advocate that shit on anything from Kenny.

But I can understand anyone changing the order of my top 3. T&Y as cemented Lupe as one of the greats. His career started off strong, but declined (due to Atlantic imo), and now he has bounced back with another great body of work. This is like Ali boxing career

Man those 4 songs are dope. Honestly I like every song on the cool, even the bonus tracks.

A few songs on FnL I can only play if I'm in the right mood, others can get played at any time.

Right now I'm tryin to figure out if I consider T&Y better than FnL. I don't think I can consider it better than the cool, unless some songs really grow on me.

Think Imma get a physical copy or the whip. Give it the whip test, no hrap
