Which artist you feelin more, or think is better? They both touch on some necessary topics, have flows and delivery. Lupe is undoubtedly deeper in my opinion, but who would yall roll w/ on this one

Lupe...............Though J.COle is a Problem, Lupe has Crazy albums, 1 that might go down as a Classic.................I gotta see what J.Cole does with his

Its kind of early to judge since J Cole hasn'tdrop an album, but based on the mixtape i feel J Cole more. Lupe is dope but he can can be really technical and nerdy at times, while J Cole is more relatable and seems like the type that will touch all bases (commercial, streets, underground, conscious, club heads). He seems to fall into the Kanye mode, well rounded.

Nothing J.Cole spits is anything out of the ordinary. Lupe brought something new to hip-hop, and his wordplay is untouched still.

J.Cole has potential no doubt, dudes mixtapes were amazing. Hell the Warm-Up may be a classic mixtape. But he has yet to drop an album so its unfair to compare. Dude puts on a good show though. I seen him, Wale, N.E.R.D, Memphis Bleek, and Jay-Z when they came to Michigan a few months back. And dude puts on a great show, but I seen Lupe live to and I would have to say Lupe has him beat in that area so far.

i don't see what ya'll see in lupe at all i mean i tried to listen to what ya'll put up but i just don't see it. imo j. cole got this easy i mean honestly other than kick push 1,2 and superstar i don't really like any lupe songs i've heard.

I thought and still think Food and Liquor is overrated as is Lupe. Don't get me wrong, dude's creative with the rhymes and can spit but i think he gets way too much hype. J-Cole is my top prospect off allthe newcomers- then Nipsey, Drake. There's something fresh and authentic about dude's music. Like Nas when he first burst on scene, mixed with a bit of Dre 3000 and Kanye. The Warm-Up is as classic a mixtape as you will ever hear, reminds me ofMood musik and Lupe's first mixtape. I'm gonna go with J-Cole.

In terms of what Ilisten to for lyricism, creativity, depth and flow

Nas- The Past (Legend status)

Royce- the Present

J-Cole- the future

C/S the bolded.

At the same time I don't think J.Cole has a commercial appeal based off his mixtapes, I just don't get that vibe from him. Then again that's just me and my opinion.
