If you look at things technically, consider all that Lupe talks about, the ways in which he does so, the levels at which he does so, and the consitency with which he performs, only a select few people can really even be compared to him.

But when you start to mention Rakim, Joe Budden, Royce, Joel Ortiz, and cats like that, you're just showing who you'd rather listen to.

But as far as Skill is concerened, void of what you may or may not like, Lupe is top 5 ALL TIME without question.

Honestly...

If there was ever any emcee that could devour ALL OTHERS PRIOR, it would be Lupe.

If you've listened to Lupe's material, mixtapes, youtube exclusives and all, dude has pretty much mastered everybody's flow.

He can flow like nas, Em, Big, Jay, and he proved he can kill Wayne's flow on Enemy of the State.

But not only can dude perform them all, he can swith up his flow effortlessly and mix his own style throughout.

He may not be the absolute best in all categories, but he's the most well-rounded emcee all while being top tier in pretty much everything he does.

The nigga's stats are insane.

I can cosign this post. Overall skill wise Lupe probably is top 5 all time. Even though he's not in my personal Top 10 favorites yet (I think he will be some day).
