I'm sayin... This is the one of the first opportunities fans or consumers will have an opportunity to really influence a record label's perspective and handling of an artist. Fans went out of their way to start a petition that garnered over 30,000 sigs which led to the Atlantic protest for this album.

In the words of Lupe " Fuck what pros say, look at this protest! Wheredeydodatat? Whodeydodatfo'?" Cuz I can't remember anyone in hip-hop receiving this type of backing from fans. I mean I could be wrong, but if people would stop being stuck on stupid and push this album plat or somewhere in the vicinity, it MAY open up some closed minds, hence labels MAY try to market better music.

Niggas complain about a lack of diversity and true, good music but won't support the shit. If that ain't bass ackwards I don't know what is.
