Edit: Nevermind, found an article talking about The Neptunes and Trey Songz being on the album. When Lupe says the albums gonna be pop I don't get if he's trying to reinterpret "pop" or if he's aiming for a commercial sound. Neptunes are clearly capable of making pop music, but I wouldn't call their production for The Clipse pop. Either way im supporting dude until he disappoints.

Just listened to Show Must Go Own, I like the way the Float On sample was used but yeah I see what you mean. From what I read that is the first single. Wouldn't say the sound is seeming much different from some of his previous singles. I trust Lupes vision.
