He's a good dude, but what you shoudl do is holla @ the people behind him. I work in marketing and if you don't meet most of these artists when that first album drop then it's a whole nother ball game. your best bet is to speak to the team the artists have around them. It could be a road manager or a producer, etc. Those are the ones who I notice take the time to listen to you and take your material if you have some on you

Definitely talk to the people around him. How many times have you heard of an artist actually calling an unsigned dude back or even calling someone back period lol. The team he has behind him is a safe bet. Yeah it's cool to flick it up with him but if your trying to make that music pop give it to his team. I know he usually travels with the a & r of 1st and 15th. He was just back here in the chi and the same thing happened. Make yourself stand out. it'll be alot of people giving him music. Take it to another level hit that team up and exchange info and see what comes of it
