The fact of the matter is Lupe can be convoluted and you can't deny that, and he has no charisma which is part of lyricism. As far as being the most involved and complex lyrically, yea Lupe is probably the best but Lupe is at a point sometimes where perhaps he would be better making his thoughts more clear and allude to what he is talking about. It gives it the effect of being more difficult to construct, plus he isn't as seamless as a Jay, or Nas. Sometimes he purposely sits and tries to construct the most convoluted lyrics he can and its like ok..we get it you're good as metaphors...he's quoted more for his complex lyrical ability than his life lessons while he's good at his lack to say a Nas or Jay..remember this about lyricism

Some stuff you just gotta have and be born with you can't practice it like charisma one person can say something and it will be better than if the next person said the exact same thing..sorry but thats just how spoken word works.
