I think Lasers not being released yet has a little more to do with Lupe's work ethic flaws than we think.

i agree.. "Im Beamin" was a hot record but he gave it a wack video. Other then that track i havent heard too much from him I've liked. Im a Lupe fan but i wasnt feelin that "Blowin Minds Fast" or "Go To Sleep". But his albums are both classics so i know Lasers is gonna be good. I think they should put it out and if they are gonna make him make a different album they should release it as an EP or a mixtape. We wanna hear that shit mane..

Hiphop has lost its essence.Todayz hiphop is watered down,the music lacks soul & meaning. I truly believe Hiphop is in its death bed cuz wack emcees like Drake,Wale,B.o.B are fully backed by the Majors while Talented Emcees who got next like Jay Elec,Lupe & J.Cole hav yet to be given a release date. Smh!!! Hiphop badly needs sick emcees to dominate the Charts. How the fuck did Hiphop go from run dmc,rakim,krs,Pac,Nas,Wu,Big,Jay to Wale,Drake,Berg,Jeezy,Ross,weezy instead of Jay Elec,J.Cole,Lupe???

Kick Push was a small hit... his music doesnt fit into any lane which makes the majors difficult to promote. He has one Gold Album I didnt know that perhaps they feel Lasers doesnt have the potential to do the same numbers. Lupe is better off as a independent.

His situation is similar to that of Joe Budden 1 hit wonder with a Gold Album... a lot like Lupe but he got 2 albums out on a major instead of 1.

but both of Lupes albums passed gold so how is he a one hit wonder???

I see you havent read my other reply in this post. Only The Cool went Gold Food & Liquor did not and in technical terms hes a 1 hit word perhaps 2 hit wonder with Kick & Push.
