Nigga whatever. Lol, I would never say Lupe wack, or that he just got straight bodied. But when you talk about who had the best verse on a track, it's about(among other things) who stood out the most. If you ain't know who any of those artists were, and you listened to those songs would you say that Lupe's verse stood out the most? If so, then that's your opinion. But the majority of people wouldn't...

that's because the majority of people are idiots. they don't want to hear a nigga who could rhyme 6 syllables or make a intricate comparison. they wanna hear what SOUNDS good but it's deeper than that.

Just because you stand out don't mean you killed the track. If thats the case, then Nicki Minaj bodies everything...

...She does. That's a creative ass bitch. She makes her features memorable by switchin her style up the way she does. And she's not bad lyrically either. I've never heard her on a track with other rappers where they just completely shitted on her.

I thought his verse was dope on the Tightrope Remix but Janelle did spazz and T.I. and Jeezy did get him on the Superstar Remix....

Perfect example is battle rapping. Serious Jones ain't the illest nigga lyrically. He honestly isn't better than Jin. But when they battled, Serious had all the charisma, and it made his lines that much harder. You can't just be sayin a bunch of mindblowin shit, without a mindblowing delivery to back it up. Not that Lupe doesn't have that, but on the tracks in question, he got outshined. Simple as that.

So with this logic...Lil B would shit on Jay-Z easily if they were to collaborate

Simply put, yes. Anybody could outshine anybody, cause it's not just about lyrics when you're listening to a song. If you're breakin down the actual words in a verse, you could maybe determine who put more time and thought into their shit. But when you're listening to it, who cares? Pimp C had plenty of verses that are more memorable than Bun B. But is Bun a better lyricist? Of course.

Dont get me wrong, lupe is a supreme mc, but just off top of the dome, lupe got killed by 4 southern artist so far...

1.ti - superstar remix

2.jezzy - superstar remix

3. Janell monae - tight rope

4. B.o.b - tight rope

and i think the saddest part of it all, janell really murdered him more than anybody on this list...

Troll alert..........

SMH at naming all these bad, whack artists, and they terrible verses. Jeezy and BOB had some of the worst lines in these songs, Janelle was very basic, and T.I. couldn''t outshine Lupe if he drooled on a track. Ya'll need to listen more and stop being dumb asses who say "durr, that sound good!!"

I can understand rappers making club songs and songs about them enjoying money etc only nerds get mad at that because they dont go to clubs and save every penny, but a rapper like Lupe making a song for pre-teen girls while they stare at Edward Cullen and cream themselves is simply the biggest sellout of all time. There is nothing else that comes close.

If your signed to a major label, you're a sell out on some level. If mfs wanted to make music and not be heard, they would do it from their mommas basement and not put it out to the world.
