I really don't care for too many Lupe fiasco songs only one's that appeal to me Little weapon, Dumb it down and kick push! The rest album is bland to me.

Lupe is one of the GOATs for sure. Top 5 to me, personally. Food and Liquor was easily a classic and The Cool was a good album. His metaphors are top notch as is his flow, lyrics, wordplay, and punchlines. He's pretty much the total package.

Not meant to IMPRESS but to APPRECIATE. I'm sure many ppl here would label me a Ross Stan(or a paid street team member lol) but honestly my musical taste in hiphop is VAST. Ignore the beat(which I think is PERFECT for a track of this nature) and listen to what Lupe is saying. I can APPRECIATE lyricism of this level because most rappers will never reach it. Lupe plays his ROLE in hiphop and that's all I can ask for.

Cool. Well I would call Lupe an acquired taste. I'm not the biggest fan but I did buy both his albums(I actually prefer The Cool over Food and Liquor). Wat I like abt Lupe is I never catch everything in his songs the first few times I hear them, it's almost always something that goes over my head which I'm not ashamed to admit. But if u came up listening to Rakim and Krs I can get where ur coming from. Lupe is dope though

Lupes got the best double entredres in the game, he can tell a great story, one of the best technical mcs in terms of multis rhymeschemes etc. He is the perfect lyricist, the only criticism i have of him he rarely shows personal emotions in his song, sometime he be like a robot but a damn skilled one.
