I think DMX get LUDACRIS on this one, his debut was in 98 and he retired 2006, (8-10 Years) He sold 20 million in U.S and his albums pretty good. I still play DMX albums to this day
It's Dark and Hell Is Hot & Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood >>>> Ludacris whole Catalog

Good one.

DMX hasnt had a platinum plaq since 2003, but he does have 3 multi-plat's and 2 platinum's so Luda has sold just as much over a longer period of time which makes him a more successful artist Catalog wise. Luda got him on longevity too.

Career-wise Luda is doing the endorsements with Magnum condoms and Cojure liqour and DMX is in prison battling addiction.

Class is not allowing drugs to derail your music/movie career, you can either be rubbing shoulders with Barrack Obama or a cell-mate name Bubba Johnson.

Ludacris>>>>>>>>>>DMX

Even though he is inconsistent with his music, I respect son....
Hrap you fail to mention how Luda use to get under Bill O'Reilly's skin....that right there is worthy of praise. Bill was tight over his lyrics and especially when Atlanta's mayor awarded him the key to the city....lmao! @ O'Reilly and Fox News analysts calling dude a "thug"...

Much respect to Luda - Top 10, IMO.

One thing i also like about luda is that he gives back to the commuinty more then most other artist.

He's an artist that can be looked at as a role model.

We dont have too many of these in Hip Hop.

Yo, I forgot to mention that..he had Fox news heated...called Hillary Clinton a bitch, and went toe-toe with Opray Winfrey.

Sun got stripes in this game.

Yo, that shit was fucking hilarious...I was like "why is this bitter white man so furious at Ludacris", especially since he has a squeaky clean record...I thought Luda pulled a Cam'ron/Dame Dash and went on his show and had a bitter debate, NOPE! O'Reilly singled him out and decided, this is the nigger I'll focus on when there's other rappers who rap about more reckless shit than Luda...especially Eminem's punk, sissy ass...Luda called women bitches, Klansman Mathers rapped about killing bitches...I'm glad son never took the time to acknowledge that moron, he only fired back on "Red Light District" when Bill got hemmed up with the sexual harassment allegations and that was it....LMAO! @ them calling him a "thug" when he dissed Hillary....I hope he receives another note-worthy award to have those clowns mad as hell

so ludacris>>nas?

nooooooooooooo

Luda has alot of good tracks, but no classic albums

He suffers from busta Rhymes syndrome

So talented, borderline great....but missing something

Maybe he needs to beef with jay-z or something

Hell-to-the-naw. Nas = GOAT

Over the last decade tho its not as wide a gap as you might think.

Luda's career has been shorter by almost a decade but he trumps Nas on the Big Screen & on the Forbes list.

As far as "Class" is concerned Luda never sold out to the mafioso or trap-rap like Busta Rhymes or Nas with his music, he aint go rainbow like Common & 3-stacks he kept it 1 hunnid.
