Well its obvious the towel has been thrown in...if they get John Wall you won't need Devin Harris and now is the best time to get em so u can free up some cap room for the 2010 offseason circus. Nets ain't winnin no games with him. The least you could do is make his life better.

Ric Bucher mentioned this on NBA today podcast. I like Devin Harris's game, but i am not sure how it would translate to the Triangle, especially this late in the season. Stephen Curry would be the perfect PG for the triangle, but that aint happening anytime soon. Take Farmer, leave Shannon Brown. I have heard that the Nets are starting to lose faith in Harris, although i think this is mainly due to the injuries. The dude has miss too many games.

Oops...its supposed to be Adam Morrison and his expiring contract and Farmar or Brown.

It'd strictly be for cap room so the nets could make a realistic bid for Bosh, Lebron, Wade or Stat...or a combo of 2 of those names.

Devin Harris would fit perfectly cuz he's a big pg whose great on defense and ft shooting which phil likes.

The Nets are going to be feeling stupid if they don't land a big star like Lebron or Wade.

If they want to give Harris up for peanuts by all means do it.

We need a pg and Harris a a pretty good one. Phil can make it work. Pg right now is our only weakness so if we got Harris....omg!!....

I'd perfer Devin Harris over Curry anyday...hell i'd take Monta Ellis before Steph Curry at the moment. As for it translating to the triangle...I think it'd improve the ball movement significantly...instead of having Pg's who think they are nice jack up ill advised shots...we's have a nice pg who can actually create good looks for himself and others...but that's not the main reason the Lakers would get him...and that's not where his impact would be felt the most but if it was it'd be in a good way...the main reason they want Harris is because our gaurds have been getting torched...Harris brings speed on defense...then on the offensive end more running the floor like Brown and Farmar were doing vs Orlando. We lost a lot of speed with Ariza going to houston. This would get that back. Does it have its risks...yes. Not too much...mainly injuries...catching onto the Triangle...But the rewards...oh the rewards. Anyway...I expect for that wall to come for Shannon, and the inconsistancy to come back for Farmar as usual... If this was a realistic deal...no way could you turn this down. But I agree...take Farmar...leave Brown...Mitch get it done.

I think Harris is one of the best PG's in the league. He is just having an off year with all these injuries. If the Nets want to trade Harris, that's fine just make sure you're getting some quality assets in return.
