Id take the massive success, cause after words a Ja Rule or a Nelly could still move 100k-500k units if they could still manage to make decent music (which they cant)

Someone like Tech9 or Sean Price does those kind of numbers in there best year only

Rick Ross doesnt really fall into that second category tho in my opinion, he definitly got a huge "pop" push at one point and has managed to coast ever since tho he has certainly been sinking

The question is do you actually want to be in the spotlight for a lifetime? Personally I couldn't take it. I think the fame would drive me crazy.

Longer consistency.

Look at Nelly and 50. They had shorter massive sucess, but are struggling to remain relevant at this point in their careers. Yes, they sold millions in their primes, but in the grand scheme of things, you end up fighting for a fraction of that success at a certain point.

If it's about the money, you still have to be smart enough to invest and manage it. Business wise, you wouldn't want a shorter massive success unless your business plan was just a 3-5 year plan with no other intent to make a quick buck and move on to other ventures.
