Uh, I think LL was probably glancing at the camera, but with Jay-Z being right at that same angle, it looks like he's staring at him. I think it's only incidental.

To be more specific, LL was probably looking in that general direction to see what exactly what this cameraman was trying to capture on Jay-Z's face. You can imagine yourself standing right where LL was and just seeing a cameraman come right up to a guy that's 6 feet diagonally to you during a performance or something that's happening at the same time. That should cause you some distraction.

The expression on LL's face just looks like a neutral one to be frank. Not menacing, and not thrilled. Just looking...
