Also, they had that ngga Lupe on tape talkin bout movin weight. If they wanted, they could have easily RICO'd his ass.

Why is that relevant-the hustle game, and ex d boys, are always surrounded by non profit orgs, community outreach, etc. Im not sayin he laundering money, but im just sayin he has reason for me to doubt the authenticity or motive of his activism. In other words, he's not what he appears to be imo

Uninformed post

Appreciate the honesty, not many would admit they dont know whats goin on. What you need help with?

man the muthafucka was on tv cryin about the chi-town crime shit, I don't think he's inauthentic about it.

No doubt, but that doesnt negate what im sayin. Probly adds to it. Keep him in the hood where he can he the brighest bulb there and the savior and he's good. Pull him out of that and he's a fraud. He speaks as if---like Cudi very accurately said---that him as a rapper is a gift and he's needed to break it down for evrrybody

Super s/n, he reminds me of deion sanders if you're familiar with his charter school Prime Prep. They had him on tape sayin 'if i dont get paid aint gon be no school'. There are certain personality types that want things to be better, but they want it to he bc of them, their way, and if not they find a way to be unhappy or bytch how somethin aint right.

Man, you goin extra hard over there, ain't you g? Lol. You could've stopped after you said you didn't care for dude like 10 posts ago. Now, however, you're coming across like a vindictive broad; letting her disdain for someone override the ability to think logically, and instead arguing with emotion, uninformed opinions and half-truths.

Ain't they teach you how to debate at college, school boy? 's not a good a look for a man. Cut it out bruh.

But i see cats co-signed sayin im 'uninformed'

Are yall denying that this ever happened??:

Chicago Police Lt. Robert Grapenthien testified that during their wiretap investigation of Charles Patton’s cell phone, investigators heard Patton on March 25, 2003, set up a drug sale with Jerry Warren. Warren, who was convicted for his role in the case in October, set up a meeting at Hyde Park, an area under police surveillance.

Patton was also heard making March 25 Amtrak train reservations for himself and Fiasco the day prior, the Tribune reported. Although nine other people were charged with the Pattons, court records show that one person was acquitted in the case, while the others either pled guilty or were convicted. If convicted, the Pattons could face 15 to 60 years in prison, according to prosecutors.

Chilly got 44.

Also,

During the course of the trial, it was revealed that there’s another tape in which Fiasco and Patton are heard discussing splitting up “whole yellow” and “whole red” ones. Lupe testified that they were referring to the mixing of music tracks, and that he didn’t have shit to do with any drug dealing, except when he used to rap about it.

Ok, so we can rationally conclude Lupe was movin weight. Dont even come at me w/ the it wasnt proven, why you tryin to convict a brotha, blah blah blah. Lemme tell you why this is relevant-Dude mentioned all the great orgs and non-profits Lupe runs. Im pointing out why that isnt the end all be all bc a lot of people doin completely contradictory things have non profits and community things. Also, its more info supporting Lupe isnt who he appears to be. Doesnt mean i think he's inauthentic about hi spain of dead chi teens, or his dsire to hel, etc. Juts means he aint some concious and righteous dude.

But i dont wanna digress...somebody said im uninformed like that shyt didnt actually happen. Like Lupe aint lucky to be free. Clearly, w/ the bolded above, he's lucky to be free.

What we do know is that he is going on his FITH ALbum rapping about Black America.

Its hard to be black in America i see.

i mean what else do you want from him?

Aren't we, as human beings, inherently contradictory? Based on that absolute truth, would it be unreasonable to say that he realized that he was lucky to make it out of that life and devote himself to the people?

If you're going to tear him down, you have to tear down MLK, Malcolm, Huey, Muhammad Ali, Pac, Nas, Mos Def, and the list goes on. Not putting Lu in the same category as those people per se, but all of them had problems and moments where their actions and words were contradictory.

You can't point your finger at one and conveniently leave out similar situations because they'd denounce your argument. We understand you don't like dude. Just leave it at that.

Lupe the best rapper outta all 3. even if he's wack and crazy from here on out, he still has the cool and FnL which trump anything that either Cudi or Banks will do. Sure MotM1&2 were dope, and his last album had some dope songs, but he hasn't made anything near Lu's first 2 albums.

Was dead when Lupe kept retweeting Azealia's tweet "i used to steal so many Lupe Fiasco flows when i first started rapping haha. I love him!!"

Lupe trolled/Ethered the hell out of her.

Yo this shit got me crying.....lmmfao.... I wasn't ready...

N-ggas hate for Azealia really got these ppl trying to force a W for Lupe when in reality it's a huge L. Because it made her that much more relevant

Lol No. I'm very aware of the connotations in words people use. 'Leave it at that' implies i blindly just dont like him thus im attacking what he says/does. No. i dont like him because of what he says/does.

So there's no need to say 'leave it at that' as if i have a personal ax to grind that clouds my judgement. Everything he does and says (i.e. the kkk mask, him bein a dumb-smart ngga, contrarian, etc) leads to why 'i dont like him'.

As to your MLK, Malcolm X vs Malcom Little analogy, i wont even throw it out the window. When Lupe 'becomes Malcom X' and stops patronizing his audience, i'll gladly change my tone. But he hasnt done that so by your analogy, he's still 'Malcolm Little' right now. He's an idiot. Lol The king of dumb-smart nggas.
