Shit I remember I took a criminal justice class back in 2010 as an elective and I had to debate this chick on the Rodney King beating. The professor told me I'm arguing FOR the cops' actions and the chick got to argue AGAINST the cops' actions. Let me first start by saying, people should always vote in the best interest of them and their unique criteria they hold for whom they are electing to lead and govern.

I do feel that todays democratic party is more suitable for us with the social issues that we face as members of this society. Majority of the republican platform, paints us as the ills of america and the leaches that are draining america financially. Republicans have been on the front lines in promoting that anything done or created to betterment of our people as being racist and a threat to social order of america.

This past election proves the ideology of the nation in which we live in. Them vs us. Thats the mindset of our current social environment.

To me, the Democrats platform fits my criteria better. Dealing with the constitution, seperation of church and state, economy, and social issues the dems out perform the Republicans on.

The constitution is to be treated as a living organism. Meaning that it should evolve with time to fit the needs of the people but also stand firm in structure. Democrats do this by selecting liberal SCOTUS to interpret laws without bias. Democrats do a far more job explaining the constitution and how it works and not using as a tool for the use of one specific population of people.

Seperation of church and state. This means that the constitution and not the religious scripture belonging to any organization shall not interfere with any citizens right to purse freedom, happiness and liberty.

Economy. Democrats historically do far better than Republicansby investing in education, lower gas prices, strengthening unions, raises for teachers and emergency responders. Tax breaks on middle class. Everyone flourishes under that legislation.

Social issues. Just look at the news. It not hard to see whats what.

Now the Democrats are not perfect. But they extend a hand and have better outreach than republicans. And with the lack of options we have between the parties, democrats are the best option..for now.
