Pros:
•everything in your house is preset (you turn on the tv and Boom, Sportscenter/ You go to take a shower and Boom, the nozzle is set to shower:-)
•freedom- nobody else feelings to consider.
•Privacy- (what a great feeling) Nobody in your face messing up your game or taking up your space. The possibility to achieve a zen like environment.
•Design the place of your dreams without anyone else's input
•You will probably make better decisions about who you want to be with in the future. Meaning- if your situation is super comfy, it will take a very special person to make you even consider the idea of living with them.( at least, thats how I feel)

Cons:
•Lonesome at times
•Paying all those bills with your own money (sucks! especially now with this high ass gas bill!)
•For me atleast.. I'm so comfortable that I dont want people around me sometimes.

living alone make you appreciate having your own space

plus you learn how to manage your money better

on da flip side everything is on you so you can't really just splurge and buy whatever you want

I left home at 17, split time between barracks life and my own studio near school. I've never had a civilian roommate. I can't speak for any comparisons of my own experience, but I am glad I live by myself. My best friends both get lonely and prefer living with people. Even though one of them lives about 1 mile from me.

It can get irking when people bring other people with them, especially when they aren't friendly women. I live alone in a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom and unlike others in my area, I actually have a lot of parking, so it's easy to congregate at my place. But I am NOT the hosting type unless it's for chilling watching sports or playing video games, etc.

Many guys want to make their house the party spot hoping to get a lot of play from it, but I've seriously seen this work maybe once consistently. Most guys just end up hosting the party, the chicks get drunk, and then leave with dude-x, "bye yall, have fun, drive safe!"

i lived solo for like five years up until september. it is nice to be alone but it can get kinda lonely. i lived with my grandmother before that and it's nice to have another person in the house just to shoot the shit with.

recently i had to move and live with a bunch of roommates. it's cool living with roommates too. every living situation has its pros and cons in my opinion.
