Little Brother: LeftBack

The album is pretty good. I'd say about a 3.5 out 5, but in comparison to the LB discography, it's borderline horrible. Tigallo for Dolo, Curtain Call, Table For Two, Second Chances, and Go Off Go On, and 24 are the only noteworthy joints for me.. but none of those are classics, except Tigallo 4 Dolo and Table For Two

In what way? I loved GetBack, and this to me was just a huge letdown. Worse beats, worse rhymes (or recycled ones), and just a worse experience. I don't think they really cared about it.

It's a great album for true hip hop fans. Way better than Getback imo.

Whoa I dont know about that. I think Leftback is a watered down version of The Listening. Very mellow album but solid none the less. Only downfalls are the 2 old tracks and maybe a couple new ones.

It was aight up until the second half of the CD when they dropped those remixes from their past 2-3 albums. They didn't even change the verses.

To me, it was like they ran out of beats/producers and simply when the remix route to be used as filler. Once I saw tracks 9-11 as part two's to songs that were already released, I knew something was wrong. 9th should have let them put Star on the album just to help them out.

Tigolo for Dolo is probably the most memoriable kut off the album.

Just copped it and listened to it...

Nothing mind blowing... production was decent, lyrics were alright... I really expected them to bow out on a high though...

3/5 for me... it's not the same without 9th...

I thought it was OK. But I was dissappointed at the remixed tracks. Guess this really IS the end...damn.

Personal Favs: Curtain Call, Tiggalo For Dolo, Revenge.

I always felt that with 9th gone, the best direction they've could've gone in was the type of style of they showed in 24

leftback is a 4/5 for me..but still the weakest studio album they've dropped...but still of a qulity ofwhich would still be out of most artists reach..tthe main dissapointment was the re-hashed mixes, the non-inclusion of star and i thought revenge was a lil weak..but still a class act, gutted its the end!

best song on the album. he should drop a solo disc

big pooh was always filler anyway

Pooh is always slept on...he's gotten better with each album, something that I cant say about most rappers.

Great lyrics as always but average production IMO. Not a very good bow out album like Slum Village's Villa Manifesto?
