This might be alot before most of ya'll time but I thought Grand Puba would blow before he dropped 2000. Alot of heads expected him to blow but the album was a huge letdown eventhough it wasn't that bad.

I know this was about rappers but I'm gonna mention r & b singers. I wasn't a fan, but whatever happened to Lil Mo? She was featured on some hit singles a decade ago and then just disappeared. She fell off hard. After Bey went solo and dropped that joint a decade ago, all these Amerie, Mya etc. fell off.

I remember the Grand Puba hype. I read in an interview somewhere that he's mad lazy and doesn't show up to the studio on time.

Then he couldnt make a hot mainstream single after being on Busta Rhymes Touch It single. Got killed on wax by Budden with basically one rhyme. His girl was Remy Martin but in jail... Eventually he was just another New York mixtape rapper and people had moved on.
