both biggie and tupac rapped from the heart or at least gave of the impression they rapped from the heart. you can't really say that about many artists before their time. after big you had niggas like mos def who just sounded amazing on beats. all you need to do is listen to "gimmie the loot" that nigga went off on that beat and his voice and mic presence made it sound like a movie. like it was meant to be.

i find t.i.'s song concepts to be very boring and unoriginal so i wouldn't even compare him to biggie.
