Have had many discussions about this exact topic. It all boils down to lack of accountability and blaming the times and how things have changed. But hold up, the cycle all relives itself through none other but.......US. We create everything so where do you suppose the state we are currently in came from? Are they perhaps only living and acting a way that they have enabled to and having been lead by example of those who are supposed to be paving the way?

Old heads shake their head in dismay while thinking of the old days and how they were raised but how did we get to this point? Children are like a clean slate, a fresh palette, untainted. Maybe, just maybe we've contributed to much of their destruction.

And yes, my soul is type old so I admit to sounding like an old head myself but I am objective so it's a topic that's been discussed in depth with different groups of people and it tends to end up sounding like a "Battle of who to blame" when really it shouldn't be so much of a focus on where to place it but how to evolve, progressively.

The youngins today are inundated with information, youtube, facebook, worldstar, etc. Ppl like 29+ just missed that phase,so we cant understand it. They have the world by its balls really, they dont see color like the generations before and that allows them to take advantage of the benefits of other cultures. There is much more opportunity to start ya own brand and be sucessful on your own, not even in just music. But on the flip side, you cant tell em nothing. Every generation thinks they know it all, but they SWEAR they know it all. Shit im 31, and we didnt mind being schooled a lil bit. These lil niggas today have no respect, but alot of times it cuz aint nobody showed em shit. Alot of em swear they grown and demand to be treated as such but at the same time aint done shit in life. I think there is an overwhelming decline in discipline, respect, morale, and morals.However, with that said.....I think it speaks volumes about the previous generations, and how some of today's youth have been "set-up" with a feeling of entitlement. I also must say in their defense that they have been raised in a world that they know little about, and fortunately so, as well It's not the kids themselves that are horrible, it's the way they've been raised.
