thats my point. Rappers when Grammys every year. How often are they winning Oscars.

there arent any categories for rappers to get nominated in besides the best original song to a film. only two rap artists to my recognition have been nominated for that award, eminem and three 6 mafia

i congratulate three 6 for winning it but the song itself isnt that impressive. i never cared for the award or the oscars in general but a song about pimping winning an oscar does nothing for its value IMO

and that performance? smh, the oscars know what they were doing with that shit

@hrap, Im on my phone and too lazy/busy to put up exact #s, but AEOM and 7DT both sold more than C4 in 96. Pac was never known for his business ventures, aside from his future endeavors, but his music alone was bigger than anything Wayne in '11 in and out the office.

Oh yeah how can you forget in 2002 apart from The Eminem Show and The 8 Mile Soundtrack sales and the huge Singles from both and the Anger Managment Tour the actual success of the 8 Mile movie in that same year.

so 2002 definitley no 1 had a year like that in Hip Hop history like Eminem did with an Album, Soundtrack, Singles, Tour and Oscar Movie.



And got Grammy Awards andOscar award that year too.

yall arguing but Hrap posted everything as a whole music sales awards and artists he put out on his label. The only one close I think recently is Jay and 50 cuz of their artist going plat too... But Wayne got a multi plat album, 2 other artist with plat albums and a host of plat singles to go along with it. as a while Its hard to find any artist who has done it like that.
