Gay Z might as well change the record label name from Roc Nation to Bookshelf Ent because all his artist ever do is sit on the shelf.Young Money has successfully release two of the best albums this year and probably two of the best rap albums of the last century.Lil Wayne aka Best Rapper Alive doesn't hold back his artist and tell them what they should do he lets them be creative and decide what they want to do with their videos. His artist also are trained to make timeless music not that bubble gum pop bullshit whip my hair.Willow could still get it though.

Come on man, can yall dudes be serious sometimes...

WTF about Willow ?

In any event, Lil' Wayne is the best on Young Money and the rest of the roster are Lil' Wayne spinoffs to me.

- Especially Drake. Nicki sounds fuckin' annoying - good luck with any of her shit being timeless. And where's the rest of the roster ?

I'm not saying ROC-Nation is doing what it should, but signing J. Electronica isn't a bad move - just want to see more activity from the rest of the roster and signing more talent but I see more depth in that label as long as he put's their work out.

Wait - you followin' Lil B (w/ that "pretty bitch" shit) - I question your musical judgement.

God forbids a label believe in artist development, taking their time making good music and not just throwing half assed shit out there. This rap game is a marathon dude, not everyone is in this shit for the instant success, that shit is fleeting (see 50 Cent, DMX, Nelly, etc).

But Wayne's artists hold themselves back by not being legitimate enough to have popularity in the rap game. Besides drake and nicki all those other clowns are washed up or dont have realistic shots at surviving in this game. Yet hes signed them made them think they were good and acts like they going to be hot even though a few years from now they will be broke. Most of roc nation has the potentail to make it in this game with or without hov (casue hove doesnt do shit for them lmao) J. Cole having friday night lights as a mixtape was smart because since then dudes who called j cole boring are now calling him legit. If that was an album and you had to pay or bootleg it people would have never listened. But because it was a free mixtape people listened and respect him more. Now when his album comes out hes might not do crazy number but hes going to get allot of people to go pay for tickets for his concerts. Concerts are the new album. They determine if you have buzz, if people will pay allot of money to see you and if you are still relevant.
