So whats the point of this thread, quality > quantity? Most ppl dont agree w/ that. Yeah dude has a crazy work ethic and I'll give him credit for that, but I dont compare it to Pac's b/c Pac produced quality in large quantities and would have been even better had most of it been released in it's original form instead of being remixed. It's different strokes for different folks. From my experience most ppl (not all) that are Wayne fans like to listen but dont analyze and dissect music. In trying to listen to Wayne I tried analyzing and dissecting and I got nthn from most of it. Most of it was uncomprehending & incoherent rambling accompanied by unrelated punchlines which were occasionally witty. However when dude does occasionally come w/ concepts and a topic he sticks too he can be damn good. His verse on DR was 1 of the best I've heard from him in quite a while.

Lets be real, LIL WAYNES career is based more on what he does with other rappers songs and uses their templates (ideas, flows, delivery,etc), his mixtapes made his career. While his retail albums are weaker than his mixtapes because he can't jump on other peoples beats, he has to creat original material.
