Lol naw bruh. when it comes to many (or even most) cases of crohn's, there's no such thing as a quick recovery. crohn's is a debilitating disease that wreaks havoc on your gastrointestinal tract. it can cause abdominal pain, weight loss, rectal bleeding, malnutrition, and possibly ulcers. some people spend multiple weeks in the hospital on corticosteroid therapy just to cope with the pain (like reese in the pic). and because there is no known cure, its basically something you have to put up with your entire lifetime. the most you can do is manage the symptoms with medications and immunosuppressants, or pray that you go into remission. but even if that happens, there's no guarantee that the symptoms wont come back. i know someone with this disease, and they went into remission and was basically symptom free for 10 months. then out of nowhere, he experienced a severe flare-up to where he had to have surgery to get a majority of his colon removed. he told me shit is like hell on earth to deal with.
