The point is the same way some people are saying Kim is irrlevent would be like someone say those artist are irrelevent cause they didn't put out music in years. That's the point, nobody is saying Kim is better than them but in this genre of Hip Hop she's Legendary status so there is no timetable to put out music just like in RnB and Soul those artist don't have to drop music to stay relevent cause there status is established. Also Kim being Hot for a decade is to show the point of here status in the game. I know Nicki is a rookie but Kim's history is not irrelevent in this discussion cause we are talking about here status and impact in the game.

And Cham what happen when Nicki said "Roman's Revenge" wasn't about Kim and then turned around and said it was about her? LIE. What about when Nicki said she doesn't need to diss to get attention? LIE, what about when she said she talked to Foxy about Kim? LIE. Nicki been caught from lie after lie and you continue to give her pass as act like she's victim. Kim never made a diss record until after "RR" so Nicki brought this on herself. LOL @ Stretching the truth when you keep giving Nicki passes for lying.

Those artists you talked about had fan bases that were willing to wait years between albums...you think if Lil Km put out an album today she'd have the same type of success or anything close to what she had in the 90's? She wouldn't, she failed with her last album and anything she's put out since...the fans of artist like Sade, Maxwell, etc. were waiting for music from artist that could validate them waiting that long..they created timeless/classic on multiple projects...very little of anything Lil Kim has done can be said to be timeless and could have fans still waiting for an album from her after an 8-10 year gap...only rapper that's been able to pull that shit off is Dr. Dre and even he's pushing the limits with hip-hop fans with it...and as far as Lil Kim being in the game for over a decade...it's people trying to bash Nicki Minaj that keep saying "Kim's been in the game for a decade? What has Nicki Minaj done"...that's why it makes no sense...

going gold world wide isn't that big of an accomplishment...going gold in the US may not be a good thing once again but selling 500,000 world wide is a flop homie...having a song chart doesn't mean it's a success...that's like saying a song charting at #98 shows the artist has a lot of fan support...and if the support was there why not release more songs? Release a full album that built off that buzz...there was no buzz for Kim to build off of musically and there hasn't been for a while now...if Lil Kim felt that certain generic ass lines that every rapper says were taking shots at here she was being as stupid as she's always been when it came to her issues with other female rappers...nobody is trying to downplay the history of Lil Kim and the fact that she's had some hits and done some great songs, but some of ya'll is making it seem like that Kim has maintained that same level of music since her first album and she hasn't...the entire quality of Lil Kim's career has declined from music to her fucked up obsession w/ plastic surgery...Kim NOW in the year 2010 is a shell of what she was in the 90's but some of ya'll can't seem to move past that and see what she is now...
