Nicki would not have sold records during the Pac and Biggie era cause there were not many Platinum female emcees out during that time, Da Brat was the 1st than Lil Kim was the 2nd. The fact is Lil Kim debut adjusted for inflation blows any of the sales Nicki has out of the water. CD sales now are less than they were when Lil Kim album came out. Lil Kim went Platinum with CD being over 15 Dollars. Nicki went Platinum with CD being less than 10 Dollars. Like I said, Lil Kim got Millions of Fans WORLDWIDE, more than Nicki so it's not that far fetched her fans went and brought the mixtape.
