My exact thoughts.

They both got club bangers/seasonal anthems I fuck wit. Lil Jon had it from the early 2000's to 06/07 and Khaled has had it since.

lol I don't understand. You saying "c'mon brah" as if it's not a valid question. You admit they both have had success and made good music in their eras. Which one has done it better?

Not even that, it's an unfair comparison.

Actually, it's quite disrespectful to compare the two

My "c'mon bruh" is more about me not being able to chose one or the another, more than it not being a valid comparison.

You have the wrong idea that they do the same thing. They don't at all...

Only one of these artists actually have a Legacy, and it's not Khaled

Lil Jon win in easy fashion. He had the clubs on lock in his era. This might be a crazy statement but I swear Lil Jon popularized Atlanta in his prime because everybody were going to Atlanta to club & party around that time

Lil Jon had his fingerprints on a lot of hits from 2000-07 off top I remember get low, lovers and friends, snap your fingers, let's go, Yeah, whisper song, roll call, damn, neva eva, no problems, etc. Being on the radio constantly, I feel like I'm missing about 10 more hit songs too. I know Khaled has hits but it's not many people who can copy a run of hits that Lil Jon had in the early 2000's

What does Khaled do again?

He gets producers to send him beats, he brainstorms with Asahd on who should be on the Track. Ends up Getting the same handful of people as usual and they lay it Down. He goes in the Booth afterwards and starts his yelling and mini rants of self empowerment.

And Slaps his name on the song and "features" everyone else who actually sung and rapped in the song

I'm not talking about what they do. I'm talking about the finished product they put out. This isn't about which is the better artist. It's about which do you believe has put out the better music and has more impact on the industry. I personally like Jon a lot more, but you can't front that Khaled has had his name attached to a lot of hits.

You taking it too deep. @"Revolver Ocelot" put it well. They both put out big time club bangers/seasonal hits, and were the best at doing that consistently in their eras. Their music isn't the same obviously, but they approach they take is similar.

Lmao but it isn't.

Lil Jon actually produced his Tracks, Lil Jon actually rapped verses and hooks on his Tracks, Lil Jon spearheaded an Entire Sub-genre of Hip Hop and gave other artists the opportunity to come out of that Genre. Lil Jon has a Legacy spanning from the early 90s helping produce Classics with So So Def.

Lil Jon broke new Artists, produced their entire albums, and made them stars for their own period of time. DJ Khaled grabs the same guys who's hot and recycles them over and over. (Please dont mention Ace Hood, he doesn't show him any kind of attention...nor Kent Jones and his other Artists.)

Lil Jon makes Albums that are Cohesive because He PRODUCED the Entire shit lol

Can we say any of this about DJ Khaled.?

Dj Khaled essentially makes Compilations.

At Best, Dj Khaled is an Executive Producer.

Again, you're talking about something I'm not talking about. Nowhere did I say that Khaled had anything to do with the actual crafting of the music. I'm not talking about that. I basically talking about the movements he's created. The dude has built relationships with a variety of artists, has promoted himself and his brand, and is consistently responsible for putting out some of the biggest commercial hits of the year. I'm comparing his reign of doing that to Lil Jon's reign of doing the same, nothing more and nothing less.

Again, if you want to say Lil Jon is the better artist and that alone makes him your pick, that's fine, but stop acting like I'm giving Khaled credit that I'm not.
