Yeah he or JD obviously went down the route of being more R&B to cater to the older chicks... His lane was already that kid rapper that the high school chicks and the MTV, Nickelodeon kids like... But all he did when he got older was go more R&B and start talking about sex... He should of gone more lyrical and slightly more hood for his transition...

He tried that a few years later when he signed with Young Money, but by then it was too late as you cant really go from a pussy R&B rapper to a lyrical hood rapper all of a sudden...
