After news broke that Lil Boosie had finally been released from prison, fans took to the Internet to celebrate, and while many rejoiced, there were still some people who felt as though celebrating his freedom wasn't the most positive thing to celebrate, and actor Jason Weaver is one of them. He took to Instagram to voice his opinion on so many people coming forward celebrating Boosie's freedom.

Jason believes that many of the people who've joined the "Welcome Home" and "Boosie Back" movement aren't even real fans of Boosie, but rather just simple "band-wagoners" joining in on the Internet trends because they see so many others involved with it. He specifically called all of the "Welcome Home/Boosie Back," comments from supporters on various social networking sites, "coon sh*t." While Jason stated that he in no way intended to disrespect Boosie, (for freedom is indeed a privilege to cherish in life that many people take for granted) he also expressed how he believes celebrating a person being freed from incarceration is wrong because people don't celebrate those who manage to never become incarcerated in the first place.

Instead of honoring a man who's been put behind bars for some sort of crime, or alleged crime, Jason feels as though it would be a more positive message to "celebrate young black men who have stayed OUT of prison," on a more regular basis instead. He wrote a long message expressing his feelings on the ways that the Black community uplifts forms of negativity, but doesn't shed any light on the true positive accomplishments of people who never carry a "street-oriented" image. Jason received tons of support from fans for having the heart to speak his mind, but also got hit with some backlash and criticism as well.

Check out what Jason Weaver had to say regarding Lil Boosie's freedom, and the many fan reactions to his opinions, above. Do you agree, or disagree with Jason's statements?

he sound like a bitch

why he mad boosie got fans, sound like he jealous to me

I don't even know who the fuck Jason weaver is

Fam I know you're being serious,

but ya post is funny as hell,

even though its not really funny..

The dude that played in the movie ATL with TI..

didnt know who that was until you posted that picture

Niggas couldn't be happy BOTH dudes are free?

People always do that, try to criticize and trivialize instead of using the moment to their greater benefit.

Besides where was the Free Eddie Conway Movement? If you gonna try to shame people at least be about it yourself. More than half these cats don't know who Edde Conway is anyway or what he was about it's just some party pooper bullshit.

Let the homies cook, if they happy Boosie is free let em be happy.

Boosie is mad wack lol. Maybe I just don't understand the movement.

you have never been thru struggle then...

Are u talking about his struggle bars?

I hear this arguement too, like im not a nigga from new orleans who been through some struggle. Niggas be like, "you can feel and hear the realness " foh. BG,Jay ELectronica, Soulja SLim, MAC, etc.... made street music and i felt they shit, but this is my problems with Boosie:

1. the production is generic as fuck. Shit sounds like a background sound in Breaking bad during Jesse gangsta days (ironically boosie has a song on Breaking Bad

2. The substance, flow is bland and generic as fuck. Boosie strikes me as them niggas at Chervon selling them tapes for 5 dollars talking bout "You gone feel this nigga !" FOH with that shit. Its ok, but its not some amazing shit, unless niggas IQ levels is low to process some more thought out lyrics.

3. His high pitch voice. Shit is annoying af, it can be cool sometimes in the club, but how do you niggas make this nigga music your main thing?

4. His core. His fanbase is mad annoying, you got rednecks, stupid fruity swag niggas, and just ignant niggas from the hood who will kill you if u call their lord and savior Boosie lame or corny.

Boosie is cool, but he aint no PAC. Thats all im saying. My opinion. TBH Webbie makes better music IMO.

Are you saying this is pretty much a line up of his best material? Because if so, your making it way to easy for niggas to dismiss him entirely.

That free boosie shit is all hype. To the true boosie fans, y'all gonna see. Ppl build ppl up to tear em down. Wait til they hear how wack he is and how he struggles with his rhymes.

They gonna ODEE on this nigga

U gotta keep in mind, the majority of these dudes who hold Boosie in such high regard are fatherless. He a cool rapper and all, but ppl out chea really acting like they personally know the nigga. I used 2 know a dude who wore a chain w/ a picture of Lil Boosie hanging from it. The fuck kinda suspect shit is that...

if u dont like it u just dont like it bruh, this is not one of them lyrical miracle bad song making dudes, the rhymes may be simplistic, the pitch of voice may be an octave too high, but the appeal is that a lotta people can relate whether partially or all the way, or they just simply enjoy the feeling from his songs, its a similar appeal people had to tupac which is probably why scarface said what he said, what i posted is not necessarily his best material but it contains some of my personal favorites

whats funny is the same people downing boosie probably bump the hell outta meek mill lol
