Good lookin my dude. I know sometimes people got to hustle or do thing they dont want to do to survive . But to be real all this talking about killing each other , dodging fed time , disrespecting women etc should be totally unacceptable to us as fans and as race. We want to be respected as a people but we talk about Boosie is real GTFOH. Get a job , get some Sam Cooke or EWF in your life. Try teaching someone some history , go to a museum instead of teaching someone about the dynamic of the trap and how real that is.

To me you don't have to live your rhymes to be real. What you do have to do is portray your lyrics in a real manner. You can rap about the struggle but if you just glorifying the shit acting like its the best thing ever, i.e. lil wayne, then to me its fake cause you aint really telling people what it is really like. But if you are giving people an honest picture of street life both the good and the bad the ups and the downs and are not just talking about how many guns you supposedly have then you are keeping it real.

I don't care if you lived it or not if you are just blatantly glorifying street violence in your lyrics then you are not keeping it real and if you are blatantly glorifying street life in your lyrics and you really did live the street life not only are you not keeping it real but you are twice as worse to me as someone who never lived it because you should know better.
