150k is fantastic in this day and age, especially for a rapper with practically zero radio appeal. You guys do realize how poor album sales are in 2012 compared to back in the day right? Album sales are less than 10% of what they were in the year 2000. If you look at the sales of this album in relative terms, it's actually one of his most impressive debuts. Nas doesn't make that pop radio shit to sell records. He made a fantastic album with Life is Good (far better than anything Em and Jay have put out the past few years for those who keep brining their names up) and put up solid first week numbers.

Are you haters gonna say Em fell off because Relapse and Recovery sold less than HALF of what the MMLP did first week? Hell Relapse only sold 1/3 of what MMLP did first week. The MMLP has sold nearly 20 million copies worldwide while Recovery is only at 6 million...guess he's fallen off worse than anyone.

And by the way, Nas was predicted to sell between 115k-125k initally so he did a lot better than was expected. Just sayin'.
