The whole concept/idea behind Steam and Valve's steam machines(made by a boatload of different companies). Might be how the future of console gaming looks like. More and more indies, less and less triple a titles...easily adapteble/all in one type of consoles with different specs. Exclusive games will fade.

I guess I'll be ok with that because I don't really care for a lot of ultra expensive triple A titles. I just want fun and entertaining games (which Steam is chockfull off). This direction could get the industry to rebuild itself from the ground up which might not be such a bad thing.

Hopefully China will be the new Japan.

Didn't they just forgo the ban they had on videogames?

Yes but each console and game needs to be reviewed and approved by the chinese government.

Yea, Microsoft already announced a September 2014 release for the XB1.

I wonder what Nintendo and Sony will do. The Chinese don't fuck with Japanese products.

except with toyota, nissan, suzuki n mitsubishi lol. Never seen so many Skylines as in Beijing. Bros playing the shit outta modded winning eleven/pro evo on pc lol.

Nintendo is releasing new hardware specifically for China and Sony follows MS in. Hopefully some great chinese developers rise up and give us a Jade Empire sequal lol.

Japanese wants games to be games and not movies...

As the graphics get better the interest gets lowered...

Plus, they are content will playing the same games over and over again... That's why there's 20 Dynasty Warriors out there

Western games ain't shit & with Japan falling off it's even worse now.

I'm not even feeling the PS4(assuming E3 doesn't deliver). If it wasn't for Nintendo I would just ride out the old systems for a few more years.
