I disagree with all but flip that the thread starter mentions but some of the underground guys who I don't think are any good are Slug, Sage Francis, MF Doom, El-P, Aceyalone, Aesop Rock, Murs, Cannibal Ox. Can't really think of too many more off the top of my head, for the record my major beef with most of the aforementioned is for the most par flow and beat selection.
