where are you getting this idea that I'm saying that the Wu was caring anything about Big, I know they were beefing, I was simply saying you can't say all of NY was shook, when there were niggas he didn't say shit to

I guess u could. I mean if Pac took "Who Shot Ya?" as a diss when it was reportedly recorded months before the shooting (I read somewhere it was supposed to be on R2D but was scratched) then him taking a song called "I Shot Ya", that came out months after after the shooting, as a diss would be a no brainer.

I always thought that LL song was a diss to Pac. Why would you record a song titled I Shot ya in the mist of everything that was going on. Pac was dissing LL too during his Makaveli period. 2pac just died before he could release the songs.

when i say all new york, i mean any rappers that had a problem with what pac was saying, but didnt have the heart to say shit to him and pull his card. Of course pac had alot of friends in NY like big l, meth, busta, ect.....soo of course it wasnt every last rapper scared because even pac said its not about east and west, its about riders and punks, what side are u on. soo im only referring to rappers that wanted to say something but was scured too which was a good majority of ny rappers...

naw nigga

i was old enough 2 remember when hit em up dropped and the whole nyc was shook

none of the top rappers from nyc wanted any problems with pac thats why they went hiding after he got out

name a top rapper from nyc in 1996 went pac went crazy on ny and i will give you the name or info that will lead you to the diss track

what yall fail to realize is that hit em up was not on tupacs double cd and it was released as a "b side" to the how do you want it single in june 96. tupac died three months later

tupacs beef was with big and puffy for the most part before that ... it wasnt till hit em that pac started wilding on everybody

back then the mixtape circuit was pretty big and if you were into hip hop and were of age, you would have heard alot of these songs before they were on albums or singles. if you were in a place that didnt have a decent mixtape market you wouldnt have heard it until the album dropped. back then singles didnt drop till after the video was released, albums werent dropped until the second single was ready to go and the video would drop first along with a commercial to give you the heads up that the album was coming

how do you want it was the 3rd single off of pacs double cd. hit em up and how do you want it's videos came out simultaneously ... the west didnt have many popular mixtape dj's like ny did ... this is why alot of west coast cats disses werent heard until their albums were dropped ... you couldnt diss jay z on a clue tape because clue was cool wit jay. you couldnt diss biggie on a mr cee mixtape cause he's the one that put biggie on in the first place LOL. hit em up literally came outta no where... pac basically just dissed anyone who he felt was cool wit/close to biggie. this is why he was cool with the boot camp click .... because them cats were already beefing wit biggie ... this is why he was cool wit wu ... because ghost and rae were already speaking out against biggie to a certain extent. plus wu has fam out in cali, so does boot camp

alot of yall niggas is talking out yall ass right now ... i wasnt that old when all this happened but i lived it ... i met biggie ... and i dont mean shook his hand and kept it movin .. i mean kicked it wit him numerous times. my brother actually accused him of shooting pac to his face. i met moob deep ... i never met pac .. but i met boot camp, treach, and a whole host of niggas who were involved with this situation before they ever made millions off of it while it was going on. yall dont understand how hearsay and the media played a big role in how info was relayed back then ... there was no crazy cell phones and internet ... niggas had beepers and pagers LOL ... misinformation was the main poison that kept this feud going

these niggas DIED ..... DIED because of this shit ... and yall niggas is here making a mockery out of the shit ... then you wonder why niggas is dressing like faggots, calling themselves princess, snitching, and black women dont respect you or themselves doing ghetto gaggers getting spit on by white boys. shit like this woulda never happened back then... niggas would DIE before wearing cute earrings and purple silk shirts ... women would DIE before they fucked the next man and gave his stash away to his enemies, or fucked a white boy and let him spit on her, getting ass injections, acting like bimbo white girls calling themselves barbies

this shit is fukkin scust!!! do your history and get your mind off this slave culture bullshit!!

Kinda. Niggas gotta remember Jay/Pac never had any personal interaction (personal meeting, phone conversation, nothing). His only problem w/ Jay was that he was cool w/ BIG and sometimes when u stand next to a target u get hit. Pac even dissed Jay on the original version of Hit Em Up but 1 of the Outlawz (EDI I believe) asked Pac to take Jay's name off b/c at that point Jay hadn't dissed Pac in any way so he did. It was after that he started dissing Jay. As far as "Dead or Alive" Jay recorded it while Pac was alive but BIG asked him not to get involved in the beef by releasing it so he obliged. I remember my older brother saying that Jay did perform at the Apollo one time in early or mid 96 and performed the song though and until it was leaked on the internet years later no one other than the ppl there that night had ever heard it. I think Jay even spoke on that in an interview so I'll see if I can find a link.
