I'm pretty sure no RAPPERS did the shooting. I'm sure some of the thugs/gangstas/what ever you want to call them took offense to the song and really took offense to them shooting the video in nyc and reacted. Same thing would of happened on the west coast.

Drop A Gem On Em was released in October 96...shortly after Pac died but it was recorded while he was still alive. Prodigy mentioned him by name in the original recording but it was edited out before it was released since Pac was already dead. But yeah the DMX thing was pretty on point since Get At Me Dog wasnt widely heard in 96 and wasnt released until 2 years later.

How could you record, edit, and release a diss track to a dead man??? Smh at mobb deep and biggie (long kiss goodnight)

nah pac was outta jail. 1 of the reasons they shot uo the video set was b/c someone (BIG I believe) went on the radio and said that it was Pac & the Dogg Pound who were shooting the video instead of just the Dogg Pound b/c Pac wasnt w/ them.

trying to re-write history again? pac was killin ny period. most of them dudes wanted to rap but pac had them thinking it would be murder if they really got at him. people was just bowin down out of fear. that dmx and mobb deep ish came out after like people keep saying. most of the other stuff was contained to mixtapes on the streets on ny that no one else in the world even heard.

IDK but thats what happened. Pac was alive when it was recorded and P dissed him by name. Then Pac died and took his name out and released it anyway. Maybe niggas liked the song and didnt wanna scratch it...***Kanye Shrug***
