I thought Relapse was cool and Recovery wasn't terrible.
I think Em makes timeless music and so do the millions of ppl who buy his old albums every milli second.

em..stays consistent to who he is, and i will agree he's gotten lazy, alot of artist have done that i.e. busta rhymes..i stop buying an em album after the eminem show...but just like nas, and this is only an example, and nothing against nas and nor am i saying em is better..just using nas as an example..
u said nas drops creative ish...em did "3am"--which you might not be a fan of the joint because of the subject matter..but the rhyme scheme was creative, and there was a story telling in there. and it was in his "lazy era" as well. so that's two things you said nas is still able to do, that i highlighted that em still did.,
& you talked about nas with his heart felt ish, black perspective...again and i stop buying his(em's) albums..em still had heart felt ish...you may not have listened to them for whatever your reason were, or they felt out werent good anymore (and that's believable) and he was spitting ish from his life and his perspective again...u may not have listen to them for whatever your reasons were didnt like them..

again we are talking from a standpoint that music is all subjective....what one person thinks is art, doesnt mean the next person will. Nor does it mean it's still not art. "letter to my son" is a great fucking song, but just because you think is explains aggression, and frustrations better doesnt mean "KiM' was any different or wasnt a good song.
nor does it mean "KIM" wasnt a clever song either. I got the point of "KIM" and why it was done the way he was done..i can google an article on "KIM" and the author could break down why it was a great song..again cause you didnt feel it or felt some other song more...doesnt mean "KIM" wasnt a good song.
what Em said or does...isnt for everyone, nor does he try to make anyone like his ish..either you do or you dont. Simple as that...but doesnt mean ppl who like his ish, dont know music.
it's all a matter of opinions. and what you choose to listen to.
and look deep into other genre of music...writers, musicians...they are plenty of them that arent normal...doesnt mean they arent musical geniuses

Relapse was a terrible album...Hov, Big, Pac, and Nas are the only rappers I would put over Eminem...Ice Cube maybe, but I think Eminem could out rap Cube.

Yeah as I have been getting older and older I have finally understood the people who I use to hear all the type so that his music has no replay quality. I mean with the exception of songs like "Lose Yourself" and "Stan" once in a while you realize as time goes on that it really is true.
This guy plays around way too damn much in his music and the whole "He's just having fun" needs to stop because guys like Redman can do similar things without going too overboard.
