its easier cause lebron aint got what it takes to win it by his lonesome in cleveland...he needs to be lead by someone with more heart..d wade

I have to disagree with this. I don't question his heart any more than I do D-wade's. The nigga scored 25 str8 and 29 out of his teams final 30 points to win a play off game before. He has heart. The issue which everyone will ignore is that cleveland didn't have what it takes to build a proper team around him. All the teams they build around Lebron was predicated on Lebron scoring 30 to 40 a game for them in the playoffs to win. Not even Kobe was asked to do that or even Jordan (although Jordan did it anyway but Jordan is the anomaly). Perception is reality and people are gonna perceive this how ever they want but that's how I see it. This aint a referandum on Lebron more so than on the Cavs failing as a franchise. Could Lebron have stayed? Sure but honestly why should he have? If I were him I would have left to Miami too. Maybe you wouldn't have but I'm sure in hell know I would have.

Also i keep saying this but no one knows how this team is going to play. Who knows who will end up being the Leader on the court. If Lebron goes out and averages a tripple double no one is going to be saying he is playing second fiddle to Wade. It would become Lebron's team. It all depends on how they play together. It could go either way. It could be Wade's team or it could be Lebron's. We don't know till we see them play. All this stuff remains to be seen.

Which is the point. They ran into better teams. Beside Lebron throwing game 5 or whatever against the Celtics this year (honestly I think he knew he was going to Miami then, can't go to Miami if he wins a ship in Cleveland haha) how does Lebron not have heart? Like I keep saying he was asked to score at least 30 to 40 a game in the playoffs for them to win. That was what was needed. At some point you get tired of that shit. Just like Wade got tired of being asked to do that too. Just like Kobe got tired of being asked to do that. But some how Lebron shouldn't get tired of this? One man teams, which is what cleveland was, don't win NBA championships. Period. It just doesn't happen. One man teams get bounced out in the playoffs year after year. Look at Iverson. Lebron aint trying to end up like AI. Sure AI stayed in Philly and got all the glory but what did that get him? Exactly.

one man teams dont have 60 win seasons
every superstar that i can think of with the exception of magic johnson has had to carry the load in thier career at one point or another, when superstars run into these situations its up to them to get the team over the hump not bow out and play with one foot out of the team already, i see ur point hes extremely talented but theres something that seperates him from the elite heart, desire motivaition or tenacity call it what u will

lmao @ the excuses. He didnt have the support?

Muthafukkas had the best record in the NBA and went to the Finals 3 years ago. Had thebest record in the NBA the last 2 seasons even improved on the record this last season.

Face it....he just wanted to play with his friends and made the wrong decision far as how to handle the transition.

If this is the case you just made the point as to why everyone views LeBron as a clown right now.

At the end of the day, LeBron had to do what he had to do. Call him what u want.

He just wants to win at least one championship to get the monkey off his back so he gave himself the best possible chance. Miami pretty much has the Eastern Conference All Star starting squad. Chicago, good as they are, just can't compete with that caliber on paper, plus they have the shadow and pressure of MJ's legacy. NY is a more pressurized one man Cleveland team all over again with smore glitz and glamour. Fuck all that. He wants to win. Bron's temperament is not really built for that type of pressure- he's not built like a Jordan or a Kobe; cutthtroat, win-at-all cost killer instinct. It's not his nature. Cleveland, if the West-smashing his babymoms while the team knew'rumours are true, then I could understand why he had to leave.

Honestly, I would've respected him much more if he peservered with Cleveland and won it for his hometown on his own (just like I'd respect Phil Jackson much more if he can make a team like the Nets or Knicks champions) but I understand his move. That is Jordan status. Might be the only one to do it with subpar talent and Pippen. Shaq had Kobe/Horry, Kobe had Gasol/Fisher, Duncan had Parker/Ginobli, etc. At the end of the day, he wants to be rememberred as a winner, not like Ewing, Barkleys, Malones, Wilkins etc. LeBron is a decent, unselfish, talented dude so for his sake, I hope they can win.

Naw, they didn't improve their record this last season...they lost about 5 or 6 more games.

They weren't built to win in the playoffs...end of story. Some teams are built to win in the regular season and some teams are built to win in the post season. There is no fucking way you're winning with a Small Forward as the only player putting in work, and then somehow leading you to a championship, it just doesn't work that way. Kobe,Jordan,Wade, whoever the fuck wouldn't have won the championship with that Cleveland team.

People are just scared that this team will be running shit for the next 4-5 years. LeBron obviously doesn't give a fuck about how people perceive him, he wants to win.

LeBron has had that Can I Live track by Jay on his iPod for a while I'm sure.

7 Years was enough, the Cavs were never gonna win a championship. I don't agree with how Lebron went about his business, but I do agree with his decision to leave. HOW can u Cleveland fans be mad? Dude gave u 7 years, 11, if you count highschool.

how many years was Jordan with the Bulls before they won a title? how many playoff runs were deaded by teams like the Pistons before they finally overcame the opposition and took over the East in 1990-91? MJ was 27 when he won his first title and still got 6 even with retiring for 2 years and then retiring early again. a lot of breathing room there, say he never retired and the team wasn't broken up in 1998 how many titles would he have 8? 9 even?

point is Lebron didn't even give Cleveland a chance. his gameplay and leadership skills were definately quesionable during the series with Boston last year and now dude has bailed like a coward to piggyback on another already established championship winning team and he's only 25 years old? i 100% assure you that Lebron will regret this move until the day he dies and the people like you and other posters on this board that are on the outside looking in should already have that perspective so you should be ashamed defending his actions. wise up
