you lose for thinking a team can have all those big contracts on 1 team....

you must forget that Kobe has like a 25mil salary by himself.

why in the hell in the fuck wouldn't they trade bynum for melo so you loose a big and so who gives a shit, most likely the Lakers pick up Howard in free agency because you know he wants to be like shaq and the word is he wants to be in la anyway so your 2012 la lineup would be and old kobe, melo, Howard, and gasol who's going to fuck with that really?

lmao Lakers lost? Last I checked we back to back champions.

The main focus of this was for Carmelo to start his own Big 3 in New York come 2012, and the secondary reason is to be closer to his family in New York, why would he go further west to Los Angeles??

And for the Lakers, they need a center like Bynum come playoff time. The Lakers were smart in not getting a scoring Carmelo for now and keeping a paint presence like Bynum for later.

I don't think the Lakers will have a problem landing a superstar once Kobes time is done... I'd bet money they already have their eye on him...

did the nuggets really wanna take bynum for melo straight up?

That's what was reported, but probably not. I dont think the shit was ever serious. Denver just grew frustrated w/ NY not giving them what they wanted to make the trade happen so they had to apply pressure.
