Is it a compliment or insulting when someone says you look like a little girl?

thats up to you.

snoop told a camera-woman on TV that she was "thick" and encouraged folks to "look at the shitter on that critter"

because she was offended and went on the news about it, lots of people called her a stupid bitch with an agenda and that she shouldnt be offended.

i say all that to say, its UP TO YOU.

Blueberry Muffins.

I can not make a thread as of yet, so for this, you all will suffer. Advanced apologies.

I Got a VM from the "squads" day camp regarding an "issue" with my daughter's Shirt and Doll that she brought for career day.

(Old IC pic for visual of shirt) and pic of doll.

Needless to say, I assumed they would tell me that "they" had an issue with her doll and shirt because the character

was black. I couldn't think of any other reason, her attire/doll would be an issue.

Surprisingly, the "issue" was with my munchkin. Apparently, after their presentation the kiddos were encouraged to share the items brought with the other kids.

One of the little girls (who is in "love" with my baby) asked if she could play with her doll and complimented her shirt and said that she would ask her mom to buy her one so that they can be "twinsies".

All was well until my daughter responded with "no, you can play with your doll because she is the same as you and I

will play with mine because she is the same as me" and "Doc McStuffin is the same as me so only my family can wear her shirts". :-(

Of course this will be the dinner table discussion, but it really caught me off guard.

I am perplexed on this because, we did "not" purposely teach her to discriminate. We did not verbally say these things

to her. We simply purchased black dolls and attire and anyone else would purchase Barbie and Superman attire.

We have our remedy/opinions, but I am interested in hearing your intelligent thoughts and opinions/perspective.
