One of my cousins came out as gay when he was 16, he was threw out of the house and disowned.

I have never seen or heard from him since. Don't know what happened him.

No he's not, but there are people that will discriminate on him strictly off the fact that he's black, or maybe even discriminate on YOU for being with him. You know that's ignorant so how could you possibly rationalize hating on another person's choice in partner?

And personally, I feel this instance has less to do with the white factor and more to do with the gay factor. It was obvious an agenda was being pushed last night.

Nah, b. Most of my queer friends/queers I associate with don't like Macklemore or his "ode to the gays" song.

They were rooting for Kendrick.

So this definitely has more to do with the corporate white washing of hip hop culture than with any gay agenda.

damn... I actually agree with Loca on something.

You can't deny that there's is a connection with a gay agenda there, but overall Macklemore's grammy had more to do with whitening and softening hip hop.

None of this would even be an issue if the attitude @ 1:04-1:15 was still prevalent.
