I hate when IC niggas tag me in useless threads because they seek my attention online instead of seeking female attention in the real world.

What time do you get out of school?

Working on my masters of science degree so there's really no set time I get "out of school". At that collegiate level, there's always some studying to do or paper to write.

Omg, people always ask me like when do you finish your PhD, and I'm always like when these experiments come out right and I get more grant money to do more lol. I think sometimes people love the cool, fun side of science but don't realize how really tedious it is to actually do the work.

Reading tons of scientific articles and journals, finding an area of research that interest you but is also likely to get funded, writing grant proposals, constructing and conducting experiments, repeating those experiments to test the veracity of your findings. Only to have to scrap months work because your results are not agreeing with your hypotheses.

Making those breakthroughs is so fulfilling tho, it can make up for a year of everything going wrong. I try not to get discouraged by failed experiments tho, just try to remember that all the easy experiments have already been done a long time a go, and they sure as hell weren't easy then when they barely knew any of the elements or biological processes of life
