KRIT just got released by Def Jam. What should his next move be?

I liked what Killer Mike did with Pl3dge getting Grand Hustle to promote it while remaining indie. That's another successful independent model from more of his style.

What about TDE?

I think the competitiveness with Kendrick would keep him from doing that otherwise I would like that move. They seem like a label that lets their artist do what they want.

Ahhhh now the 12 for 12 shit makes sense....time to grind and get that name out there. Indie is the obvious answer but you need buzz first hence the freestyles.

stay indie keep doing what he is doing

but if he is to sign with a label either MMG or Hustle Gang

Rick Ross and TI seem to give their artists creative freedom,have/keep their own style/authenticity and he has a good relationship with both.

He needs to stay indie and split his touring between smaller venue headlining shows and potentially opening for bigger artists tours like a kendrick or cole. He did get a gig opening for Macklemore a few years back so i don't see why he couldn't do that in late 2016 or 2017 with other rap artists doing arena tours.
