I really like that they just updated the original 1930's look with modern tech this time. As opposed to what Rick Baker did in the 70s and Peter Jackson a few years ago. Really makes it feel like Kong. Already can't wait to see him face Godzilla.

There's a rumor that this Kong is young so he may still grow a bit because I think they made Gman a little too big lol.

Didn't they already purposely make this version of Kong like 15 times bigger so that he could match up to Big G in the first place?

When I was a kid I used to love conventional monster movies (especially the Universal Monsters) and kaiju joints.

I couldn't care less about superhero movies by comparison. My most anticipated shared movie universes are this one and the revamped Universal Monsters that begins with Tom Cruise Vs. The Mummy next year and continues with Johnny Depp as The Invisible Man.

So Thank You Marvel Studios for inspiring all these copycats and bringing back crossover cinema.
