Lebron quit in game 5 vs the C's they aired that game on nba tv when he went back to cleveland

That 3rd Quarter was mad suspect he aint even try and was turnin the ball over reckless like it was intentional

Aint no excuses niggas gotta be real about that

I don't wanna take anything away from the Celts even though I was rooting for the Cavs in that game. The best way to tell a player is getting D'd up is when it "looks like" they're quitting. Sometimes it's just frustration. A good defense frustrates.

It's like Jordan's early days against the Pistons. Dude got into fights, had mad turnovers and was gunning shots late in the game. Some could interpret that as him saying "fuck it" but I see it as a top-notch defensive team doing their jobs.

You do realize that means Jordan hit nearly 50% of all shots... SMH at you not understanding facts! Not points... there's a difference... this isn't semantics...

Shut your dumbass up faggit. Jordan had a higher FG% than Reggie Miller also, does that mean he was a better shooter? Shut the fuck up, if you are going to try and use this stat in the way youre using it then get the true fg% or don't say shit.

Lebron came in the league and was an immediate impact player, whereas Kobe was riding the bench or throwing up air balls in limited time.

Lebron got to the finals by himself. Kobe by himself was barely .500 crying about wanting a trade.

Lebron has never been snuffed, Kobe got two pieced by lil Chris Childs

Kobe gets bood in his 'hometown' whereas severe feelings were caught when LeBron left his.

It's apparent that you lack a knowledge and understanding of the game.. so lemme explain some things...

typical response from mad posters.

1) Shooting percentage directly correlates with shot selection... High percentage = good shot selection, Low percentage = bad shot selection... Kobe takes 5-7 bad shots per game because he can and he wants to. He does not look to make the extra pass for the better shot for someone else... he just chucks it up, fuck the consequences... 30% of the time he'll make a WTF! shot that a highlight... but still it's a bad shot.

and yet... we still won. no one is debating his occasionally horrible shot selection. thats part of his game/who he is. as long as he is winning thse flaws will be glossed over.

2) in game 7 Last year in the opening minutes of the game Kobe came out FIRING shots from every angle, trying to channel his inner Jordan, the result? EPIC fail... 6-24 shooting... Ron Artest and Gasol won that game and thus they won the title, Not Kobe...

lol right because he had NOTHING to do with the other 3 wins in that series.

3) passing to an open teammate is a great thing... however passing to them with .5 seconds.. because you've dribbled and demanded the ball isnt not good... watch the game objectively and you'll see what I mean.

he is the facilitator of that offense. of course he dominates the ball.

4) Kobe fans are the ones talking about he's the GOAT. They're the ones that say he's better than Jordan. they are the ones that think he's a better Laker than Kareem and Magic. the Stannery for Kobe knows no bounds...

so you butt hurt because a bunch of kids born in the 90's say Kobe is the GOAT. never mind the hundred of thousands of adults who know better and never say these things

The last two have nothing to do with basketball you sound like a bitch with scorned feelings. especially the last bolded line. Lebron quit on his team last year in the playoffs and bolted for the heat

That last Kobe quote proves MY POINT. Stop making the "it's only december/we only care about june" excuses if the player and team themselves ain't. The shit matters - period.

If you or any other fan only cares about june, then stop watching and stop posting until June then.

IJS

wow... that aint what i said at all. obviously i care. and that quote showed that kobe cares. he was saying that collectively the team didnt care and that it was unacceptable.

Damn yall are tripping in this damn thread. The LeBron and Kobe fanboys are out in full effect. It comes down to this both of these guys are great talents and to discredit one to validate the other is unwarranted Kobe has 5 championships under his belt with a chance to get more and before its all said and done I believe LeBron will probably have that many championships under his belt as well barring injury. I'm more of a LeBron fan but I do not try to discredit Kobe or his talents both are great and it really comes down to personal preference when referring to which one you prefer.

Lets be real the Lakers got smacked up the last two games. They played lethargic and it felt like they didnt care. They tend to this from time to time. Never play defense up to their potential. These next two games should be a barometer of how they play under some sort of pressure (I doubt it but the spurs and mavs (I think) are challenges for the playoffs.

Aight, maybe I misunderstood. But it goes without question that that's the overall sentiment coming from Kobe/Laker fans on here.

1. Kobe was a rookie on a team with All stars. Thats why he didn't start. Lebron was playing on a team with nobodies and they gladly sucked his dick from day 1 because of it.

2. Lebron got to the finals in a conference that had been notoriously super weak for years. Lebron was greatly helped by the Pistons choking and Refs. Lebron averaged the second highest free throw attempt amount ever in the playoffs. Nigga was shooting like 20 fts game at times. If Kobe ever got 20fts a game he would average 45.

3. Lebron ducks any altercations

4. There is no nba team in lebron's home town.
