I agree..he's taking an insane amount of shots to get his 40 a night...Kobe has never been an efficient scorer, (like say, Kev Durant) and that's kinda been a negative for the team. What he's doing now isnt sustainable for success though....and to be honest, he hasn't gone on a scoring binge like this when it counts, which is in the playoffs.

He's avceraged 30 or more points in the playoffs 7 times what the hell are you talking about. If anything Kobe shows far more constraint innthe playoffs than he does in the regular season.
And he's shooting 50 percent during this last 8 game stretch. Thats the definition of efficient. Kobe is a jumpshoter, he's always been a jumpshooter thats why it takes him more shots to get points than other guys who are better athletes. Thats the main reason I hate the Jordan comparison. He's averaged them at a below 50 percent clip...which was my point. My overarching point is that, while I admire his scoring greatness, efficiency is not chucking up 30 shots and winning games by 5 or less points...for the team to be successful longterm, Drew and Pau need to get more touches.

He's now taking high percentage shots unlike before is why he's shooting over 50%. the bolded is where your whole post turned into shit .... the reality is that the lakers DO need kobe gunning for atleast 35 a night and with the high percentage he is shooting there is no reason to negate what he is doing .
