We have been diverting a lot of re-hires to Afghan, mainly because we know they can deal with the sub par living conditions better than new hires can. Dyncorp has offered a sign on bonus, which is great, but they only have the R&R every 6 months, and living in Afghan is a major step down. I'm used to having my own office, my own room, and my own vehicle, so I don't know if I'm ready to go live in a tent in the freezing cold. My good friend is the lead HR in charge of hiring for Dyncorp over in afghan, so he is actually the one who hooked me up with the offer. I'm going to continue weighing my options and see if I'm willing to compromise comfort, for money that I no longer need.........plus I'm the boss here and used to things the way I want, but with Dyncorp I'll be back to a regular Generalist and I'll have to take orders instead of give them. So I'm weighing the options really heavily before I decide.

well I'm still willing at least ride it out to see for myself. Plus I do have a connect that say they can make a few phone calls and send out a couple emails in my favor.(ironically they @ C-1 also)

Still I will not hold them to that, but it worth a shot. Worst case seninco is if I do in up in Afghan I can just demob from KBR after a few months than take up that TAC reciuter's offer....shit If I'm gon be there may as well get paid all I can.

And personally if know pressing drama or company politics are stressing you out. I recommend keeping the job you have with KBR. Not many of us are in a position of power and influence you have now.

So the more the better cuz alot brothers and sisters are missing out on this opportunity

That's what I'm trying to find out now. I got a great offer from Dyncorp, but I want to see how much of Logcap 4 they get. KBR Got the entire LogCap for Iraq. So I'm wondering who's going to get it for Afghan, and rather or not it will be worth it to make the move............... We shall see, I win either way though cause I'm a BAUCE!!

I can't confirm it but it looks like KBR, Dyncorp, and Fluor...still trying to verify

It was disturbing that this dude had the nerve to post this, on an mostly black site and these coons laugh at it or said nothing. These white boys are out of control running around here. You see it's mostly white boys, talking shit and making these threads in the first place. The rest of the photoshops are whatever, it's more lame that someone spends their free time doing it, but it's all comedy so it's not an issue for me. But that lynching pic took shit way to far, but that shit is accepted here though, and the black posters look the other way, so I guess it's just a flaw of the site......*shrugs*
